Responsibilities of the Division

The Finance division  ensures that the Department's financial resources are managed in compliance with industry standards and applicable regulations set by the Government Accounting Standards Board.

The Finance Division is responsible for the management of the Department's revenue and expenses, ensuring that resources are available to meet the day-to-day operational needs of its Administration, Water Utility, and Water Reclamation Divisions. 

Finance is also responsible for the data management and analysis necessary for planning and maintaining the Department's financial position, including its annual operating and capital improvement budgets and annual financial statements.

The Finance and Accounting Department also oversees Purchasing.
