The Administrative Services division is dedicated to providing quality administrative support for the City of San Bernardino Water Department. Our primary focus is delivering customer service which is friendly, helpful, and professional to all of our customers, both external and internal, and to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of the services we provide.
Environmental & Regulatory Compliance
The Environmental and Regulatory Compliance (ERC) division was organized in July 2006, as the result of merging Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance functions. The division was created to provide more visibility and resources in this vital focus area.
The Finance division is responsible for the management of the Department's revenue and expenses, ensuring that resources are available to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the entire Department.
The Water Reclamation division operates and maintains a regional secondary treatment facility, the Rapid Infiltration and Extraction facility, and the sewer collections system that provides trusted, quality wastewater collection and treatment services for the City of San Bernardino, City of Loma Linda, East Valley Water District, San Bernardino International Airport, Patton State Hospital, and unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County.
The Water Utility division is responsible for operating, monitoring, and regulating wells, reservoirs, treatment plants, and the entire water distribution system to ensure the drinking water needs of the community are met and meets all State and Federal standards.
